Welcome to BQR!

Black Queer Radical (BQR) provides the black queer community with news and commentary that’s relevant to our lives and our unique experiences.

Our goal is to serve as an affirmation and celebration of the entire black bi-sexual, gay, lesbian, questioning and transgendered community.

We feature daily stories covering black queer culture, politics, the arts, media and activism.

Traditional journalism is a trademark of BQR, but the writers will quickly read anyone on a local, national, or international level if the need arises.

Visitors looking for hardcore news relevant to the black queer experience have found an oasis of information here at BQR.

Those looking to find out the T will find their place with the Rant and Rave articles located in the Commentary section.
