Rihanna Announces New Album Release Date on Twitter

 

In her first ever tweet, according to E!, Barbadian songstress Rihanna announced the release of her new album writing "The Wait is Ova. Nov 23 09” on her twitter page next to a new metallic “R” logo against a black background drop.

 

 

The untitled album would be the singers fourth since debuting at the age of 17.  A lot has happened in the four years since.  From the most recent incident with Chris brown to her growing interest in becoming an iconic fashion figure, recently attending Paris Fashion Week, RiRi has many fans anticipating her first solo effort in more than a year.

 

Rihanna has reportedly lined up Justin Timberlake, Tricky Stewart and Start to produce her latest project.

 

Stewart was the hitmaker behind her 2007 hit “Umbrella.”

 

Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Soulja Boy and Pharrell Williams will all appear on Rihanna’s album, according to Def Jam sources used in the same Perez Hilton story.

 

Brown was supposed to be featured in a duet but the project was scrapped after assaulting Riannah.

 

Brown has an album of his own due out.  His single "So Cold" was recently leaked on the internet.
